Shyvonne Sanganoo

Shyvonne is a singer and also very active in her community through education and activism. In 2010, she spoke on a panel on Women in Hip Hop at Princeton University with keynote speaker, Dr. Cornel West. She is also a teaching artist who teaches Global/US History through hip-hop pedagogy, at several High Schools across NYC. She also does performance based protest through Artists For Justice and is a Program Facilitator with ARTIS Love + Action. Using her fresh colorful style, and her background with youth culture, education and artivism is the perfect fit for this ambitious house singer.
